Join our Efforts
Members of the Lake Elsinore Teachers Association are encouraged to actively participate in shaping the future of their profession by engaging in various union efforts. This includes advocacy work to support education policies, joining committees that focus on key issues, serving as a site representative to voice concerns at their school, or running for a position on the executive board to help lead the association. By getting involved, members can contribute their skills and perspectives while strengthening the collective voice of educators in the district.
Committees
The Lake Elsinore Teachers Association comprises various committees dedicated to enhancing the professional experience of its members. These committees focus on areas such as advocacy, curriculum development, communication, and member support, providing opportunities for members to actively participate and contribute to the association's initiatives. Engaging in committee work allows members to collaborate, share insights, and play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the association.

Site Representative
Site representatives are vital leaders within the Lake Elsinore Teachers Association, serving as the primary liaison between union members at each school site and the broader association. They communicate important information, advocate for members' rights, and help resolve workplace issues by enforcing the collective bargaining agreement. Additionally, site reps play a key role in organizing and mobilizing members, ensuring active participation in union activities and fostering a strong, unified presence across the district.
